Laniakea Research launches its new website: value the moonshot yourself

Zurich, 28 October 2026. Laniakea Research today launched its new website at laniakearesearch.com. For the first time, our free valuation cockpits, our full research reports, our videos and our news live together in one place.

The new site is built around one idea: don't just read our view, test it. Every number we publish comes from a model you can open, question and change.

The cockpits take centre stage

Our valuation cockpits for Tesla's US robotaxi business and SpaceX's orbital data centers are now the heart of the website. Each one builds the value of a moonshot from the ground up, from a single ride or a single satellite to the whole business.

The cockpits come with a new design. Every part of the model, from the market share and the cost per mile to the range of outcomes and a simulated day of the fleet, is a tile you can open with one click or pin beside you while you change the assumptions. Story mode walks you through bold public claims, such as Elon Musk's, step by step, and shows what they would mean in numbers.

Research you can interact with

Our research reports are now part of the website, with interactive charts that show the exact numbers, small tools that let you test key assumptions right inside the report, and buttons that take you straight to the matching setting in the cockpit. Our base case for each business is updated every week.

Built for curious investors

"We don't want people to trust a number because we published it," says David Siegenthaler, founder of Laniakea Research. "We want them to see every assumption behind it, change the ones they disagree with and form their own view. The new website makes that as easy as reading an article."
